J-Time is an interval-workout timer. Workouts, history and preferences are stored locally. The app has no accounts, advertising or analytics, and no developer-operated service receives your workout data. Android backup and your selected text-to-speech service can handle data separately, as explained below.

J-Time stores workouts (names, intervals, rounds, rest and ordering), completed-session history, app preferences and a local counter for the rating prompt in its private local database and preferences. The developer does not receive this information through an app backend. System backup and spoken cues are described in sections 5 and 6.
J-Time has no sign-up or login. It does not request android.permission.INTERNET and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or remote crash-reporting SDK. This does not prevent separate Android services, including backup and text-to-speech, from using their own network access.
Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) show the running workout and its controls. Foreground service and media playback permissions (FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK) support an active workout and audio cues in the background. WAKE_LOCK keeps interval timing active while the device would otherwise sleep. VIBRATE provides haptic cues. J-Time does not request access to contacts, location, camera or microphone.
When voice cues are enabled, J-Time passes cue text, including exercise names you enter and interval announcements, to the text-to-speech engine selected on your device. Starting with version 3.10, J-Time selects only voices that the engine reports as installed and not requiring a network connection. If no suitable voice is available, or the engine reports a speech error, J-Time uses a sound cue; combined sound-and-voice mode does not repeat a sound that has already played. Earlier versions may use a network voice depending on the engine and settings. The engine is a separate service operated by its provider, whose privacy policy applies; J-Time relies on the engine's reported voice capabilities. You can turn voice cues off in J-Time or manage the engine and downloaded voices in Android settings. J-Time does not download voice packages automatically.
Android backup is enabled for J-Time. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android may copy the local database and preferences to your backup account or transfer them to another device. The backup or device provider operates this process under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive or have access to those backups. Manage backup and restoration through your device settings. Clearing local app data does not necessarily delete a separate backup.
The rating action opens Google Play or its website. Downloads, purchases and reviews are handled by Google under its own terms and privacy policy. If you email support@innovaite.today, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include, and use it to handle your request. Please avoid sending information that is unnecessary for support.
J-Time is a general-audience fitness utility and is not directed at children. The app has no user accounts or developer-operated collection of workout data. The system services and voluntary support communications described above are separate from local app storage.
You can remove local app data through Android Settings → Apps → J-Time → Storage, or uninstall the app. Manage system backups separately through Android settings. We cannot retrieve or erase your local workouts or provider-managed backups for you. For questions or requests concerning information you sent to support, contact support@innovaite.today. Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of processing, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority.
We will update this page and its effective date when the policy changes. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
